BALL & YOUNG JOINS CARPET FOUNDATION

Leading underlay supplier Ball & Young, producers of the well known Cloud Nine, have joined the Carpet Foundation as Associate Members with immediate effect. They join Bissell and the British Wool Marketing Board as Associate Members.

Commenting on the decision, Sales Director Ann Shaw said: "We are delighted to be joining the Foundation. We have been monitoring their activity for a while and having spoken to some of our key independent customers, all of whom were very positive about their work, we believe now is the right time for Ball & Young.

Involvement with the Foundation will undoubtedly provide us with commercial opportunities, open up our channels of distribution and give us access to the leading manufacturers.

Having attended one of their Campaign Development Team meetings as an observer, I was won over by the enthusiasm and unity of all around the table. While we are all kings of our own castles, there was an overwhelming desire for partnership. We very much look forward to being part of a dynamic organisation at this exciting time."
